History

The OABL was started in 1999 by John Baete out of Lincoln as the Nebraska Adult Baseball Association. In 2004, after 4 seasons in Lincoln, the league migrated to Omaha where it was later renamed to the Omaha Adult Baseball League under Steve Minchow and Lou Butler.

We are currently in our 18th year and have recently changed management. Our revised focus is to continue providing players with a high quality, cost effective baseball while growing the league in new and exciting ways.
